In the fight against Coronavirus, one of the Participating Institutes of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Vighnaharata Trust’s Shivajirao S Jondhle Knowledge City campus, located at Asangaon in Thane District, Maharashtra has set up an Isolation Center and Hunger Relief Camp in the campus for the needy people during this novel Coronavirus disease (COVID 19) spread period. This initiative was taken by the Dr Shivajirao S Jondhle (President, Vighnaharata Trust).
All the necessary safety precautions and protocols regarding social distancing given by the Government of India is being strictly followed in this relief camp. Vighnaharata Trust is also running various other relief programmes in the same campus at Asangaon but in independent buildings.
The management of Vighnaharata Trust is very keen in giving importance to humanity and hence all the members of the teaching fraternity, non-teaching staff and students under the guidance of management are trying their level best to do humble contribution to society as and when required. The institute has often been contributing to the nation and society through various activities during the tough times as it did in the flood-affected areas in Maharashtra and Kerala during the disaster.
Such activities and efforts inculcate and promote the culture of social responsibility among all staff members and students. The management is also ready to extend their help and support to give comfort and care for the needy people and also even ready to spare their infrastructure facilities in the campus during this pandemic, in case any more assistance is required in future.
