“Gram Sabha” at 'Borgaon Dharmale’

On the occasion of the Republic Day (26 January, 2024) participated in “Gram Sabha” at 'Borgaon Dharmale’ adopted village by PI, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.The program has been organized Participating Institute, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati in collaboration with RCI, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan. The main objective of Gram Sabha was leverage the knowledge base of the educational institutions for effective implementation of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan government scheme for Village development. The Gram Sabha has been started by welcome of Dr. Y. K. Mawale, Coordinator, PI, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University fallowed by Shri Jogendra Mohad, Upsarpanch & Shri Manish Ingole, Gramsevak of Borgaon Dhrmale. The Chief Guest of the Gram Sabha Dr. Y. K. Mawale, Coordinator, PI, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University delivered a talk on Implantation of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Scheme, and the role of Education Institution and village administration towards village development. Also this, the meeting discussed about the problems in the village and how they can be solved by education institution and village. In this regard students will conduct household survey under UBA and prepare a project report on the major problems of this village. At the end of this meeting, everyone took oath to control Tobacco addiction and Leprosy free village. Shri. Vaibhav Nichat & Shri. Ashwin Parvi staffs of RCI, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati and villagers were present during the meeting. After the end of the program, tea and biscuits were distributed to the all participants.
