‘Waste to wealth’: An attempt to make NIT Campus self sustainable

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur successfully organised an enriching program on “Indian Knowledge System: Glorious Past of India”, featuring renowned social and rural activist Shri K. E. N. Raghavan. The event focused on India’s rich intellectual traditions and their integration into contemporary education as envisioned by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. As per the vision of Prof Arvind Choubey, Director NIT Durgapur, to make the campus self sustainable, workshops are being organised for hostel employees and mess workers to utilise the waste products to make organic manure.
