3-Day Health Camp for Community Well-being at Thakursai Village

The SDG Club of Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School, Pune, in collaboration with the JIVIKA Foundation and Dr. D.Y. Patil Hospital, organized a 3-day Health Camp from 19th September 2024 in the rural villages of Pawana and Thakursai. Aimed at promoting community well-being and aligning with SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, the camp provided free health check-ups, essential medications, and a cervical cancer vaccination drive. Over 1,000 beneficiaries were served, significantly enhancing access to basic healthcare, preventive screenings, and wellness education for underserved communities. The initiative saw active participation from PGDM students and marked a meaningful contribution toward rural health empowerment.
