A Special Seminar on Kanini Arivum Kazhani Manasum

The Research and Development Department of Indira Ganesan Educational Institutions, in collaboration with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), organized a special seminar titled Kanini Arivum Kazhani Manasum “ (கணினி அறிவும் கழனி மனசும்)”on November 4, 2025, focusing on student awareness and development. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. N. Vijayasundari, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Tamil, Urumu Dhanalakshmi College, Tiruchirappalli. The Presidential Address was delivered by Mr. G. Rajasekaran, Secretary, while the Felicitation Address was given by Dr. G. Balakrishnan, Director, and the Vote of Thanks by Dr. M. Anusuya, Registrar, Indira Ganesan Educational Institutions. The event witnessed the participation of Dr. S. Karthikeyan, Vice-Principal, Indira Ganesan College of Engineering, along with Principals, Professors, and Students from various constituent colleges of the institution. In her keynote address, the Chief Guest elaborated on the evolution and transformation of computer technology, emphasizing the importance of a systematic and balanced approach by students toward technological advancement. She illustrated her points with clear and practical examples that inspired the audience. Students from Indira Ganesan College of Engineering presented the Welcome Address and Vote of Thanks, adding warmth and enthusiasm to the event. The seminar was well-organized under the guidance of the Research Coordinators — Dr. K. Chithradevi (Principal, Allied Health Science), Dr. T. Sriram, Dr. R. Bharath Kumar, and Dr. P. Varalakshmi — and UBA Coordinators — Prof. S. Charles Jebapalan and Dr. M. Joseph Selthraj. Their meticulous planning and efforts ensured the grand success of the program. This event effectively highlighted the synergy between technology and agriculture, encouraging students to adopt innovative and practical approaches for sustainable rural development.
