ADOLWSCENCE AWARENESS PROGRANNE AT ADOPTED VILLAGE FOR SCHOOL GIRLS

Under the aegis of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, an Adolescent Awareness Program was successfully conducted at Koliyad High School for girl students of classes 9th to 12th. The program aimed to promote awareness regarding adolescent health, personal hygiene, menstrual health, nutrition, mental well-being, and overall personality development among young girls. The session was organized with the objective of empowering adolescent girls with correct scientific knowledge and encouraging healthy lifestyle practices during this important phase of life. Interactive discussions were conducted on topics such as physical and emotional changes during adolescence, menstrual hygiene management, anemia prevention, balanced diet, stress management, and the importance of self-confidence and education. The program also focused on creating a safe and supportive environment where students could openly discuss their concerns and clear common myths related to adolescent health. Active participation from the students made the session informative and impactful. This initiative reflects the commitment of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan towards community development and health awareness in rural areas through educational outreach activities. The program contributed towards improving health literacy among adolescent girls and promoting a healthier and more informed future generation.
