Under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan scheme, Government Polytechnic Sundernagar successfully carried out Baseline Survey – Phase II in its adopted villages. The survey was conducted as a follow-up to Phase I with the objective of collecting detailed and updated information about household conditions, infrastructure, and socio-economic parameters.
The survey teams, comprising faculty members and students, visited the assigned villages as per the planned schedule. The data collection focused on key aspects such as demographic details, education status, employment, sanitation, water availability, energy usage, agricultural practices, and access to government schemes. Special attention was given to identifying local issues and potential areas for intervention and development.
The teams interacted closely with village residents to ensure accurate and reliable data collection. The exercise also helped in strengthening community engagement and building trust between the institution and the local population.
The survey was carried out systematically using structured formats, ensuring uniformity and ease of analysis. The collected data will be utilized for planning need-based activities and implementing targeted development initiatives under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan scheme.
Faculty coordinators ensured smooth execution of the survey process and guided students throughout the activity. All teams completed their assigned tasks within the stipulated time and submitted the collected data for further analysis.
