Campus Cleaning Drive

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) cell of Indra Ganesan College of Engineering in association with the Department of Research and Development the successfully conducted a comprehensive Campus Cleaning Drive on 16.06.26 in the campus with the guidance and blessing of Er.G.Rajasekaran, secretary, Indra Ganesan Institutions, Director Dr.G.Balakrishnan, Indra Ganesan Institutions, Dr.M.Anusuya, Registrar, Indra Ganesan Institutions. Operating under the central directive “Let’s Clean Today for a Better Tomorrow!” and aligned with the national mission of “Swachh Campus, Stronger Nation,” the campaign was organized to foster collective civic responsibility, waste management awareness, and environmental stewardship among students and faculty members. Objectives of the Drive: • Promote Sanitation Standards: Clean up designated external areas surrounding the core infrastructure to ensure a sanitary working environment. • Cultivate Responsibility: Instill the core institutional principle of “Be Responsible. Be Proud. Be the Change.” within the student body. • Advance Waste Segregation Awareness: Cultivate hands-on experience regarding modern campus recycling, plastic reduction, and bio-degradable sorting methodologies. The core pillars guiding the entire initiative throughout the day included: • Keep It Clean: Rapid accumulation and sorting of scattered materials. • Keep It Green: Preserving natural grass blankets and protecting landscaping from non-biodegradable blockages. • Make a Difference: Direct volunteerism showing direct community benefits. • Together for a Sustainable Future: Jointly optimizing long-term waste disposal systems within the campus infrastructure.
