Cell Disease Awareness and Screening Camp

The Sickle Cell Disease Awareness and Screening Camp was organized under the The "Unnat Bharat Abhiyan" (UBA) a flagship program of the Government of India that aims to uplift rural India through participatory research, development, and innovation. Medical camp was organised by the aim of raising awareness about Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and providing free screening services to the local community. The camp was a collaborative effort between Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Raipur and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur, The event aimed to educate people about SCD, its symptoms, management, and the importance of early detection. Medical team was headed by Dr. Eli Mohapatra , Chairperson Sickle Cell Committee, AIIMS, Raipur while Dr. Manisha Agrawal Professor & Dean , RCET , Raipur leaded the program .
