CIST's Participation at 50th Chinna Shodha Yatra (CSY)

From October 25-27, 2024, the Centre for Innovation and Social Transformation (CIST) at KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology participated in the 50th Chinna Shodha Yatra, organized by Palle Srujana in Kakinada District, Andhra Pradesh. Led by B. Mohan Venkat Sai Krishna, the team trekked 46 km through Eleswaram, Mangampadu, and Komarapuram, documenting grassroots innovations in organic farming, traditional medicine, and sustainable fishing. The yatra fostered rural-urban knowledge exchange, enriching participants with insights into rural ingenuity and reinforcing CIST’s commitment to preserving traditional wisdom and promoting sustainable solutions.
