The Coaching and Mentoring Support for Rural Women under Project Pragati was implemented from February to August 2025 in Tikker Panchayat and Sanhol Panchayat of Solan District, Himachal Pradesh, by the Centre for Leadership Coaching, Shoolini University. The programme aimed to build confidence, self-awareness, and decision-making abilities among rural women through structured coaching and mentoring, thereby preparing them for skill development and livelihood-oriented initiatives. As part of the project, a series of well-structured coaching sessions were conducted prior to skill-based training, focusing on mindset development, overcoming internal barriers, and strengthening clarity and self-belief. These sessions were facilitated by professional coaches, while continuous mentoring, follow-up, and on-ground support were provided by student interns to ensure sustained community engagement. As a result of the initiative, participants exhibited enhanced confidence and self-awareness, improved clarity in personal and livelihood-related decision-making, increased readiness to participate in skill development programmes, and positive, consistent engagement with the overall coaching and mentoring process.
