Community awareness drive on Int. Day of Clean Air for blue sky
As part of this programme, the students of Mahishadal Girls’ College visited the two adopted villages and went door-to-door to educate people about pollution and the adverse effects of the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides. At the same time, they motivated people to use bio-fertilisers, smokeless stoves or chulas and the importance of tree plantation. They emphasised that biogas is a better option than using fossil fuels for cooking or other purposes. The conversations with the villagers were very friendly.
