Environmental Awareness Generation among the Primary School Students

It was mainly the students of Rangibasan Primary School who took part in this drawing competition on the subject of environmental awareness. The parents and guardians of the students are also present at the programme. The four teachers of Rangibasan Primary School actively helped in organising the programme. At the end of the programme, the students were presented with a prize. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners were honoured with trophies. Dr Bigitendriya Deb Sharma, Assistant. Professor and Head of the Department of Anthropology, Nandigram Sitananda College, was present as a resource person at the programme. In the second phase of the said programme, a Gram Sabha was organised. It was mainly attended by the guardians, and other villagers. They shared their experiences and expectations.
