HUMAN CHAIN EVENT – “DRUG ABUSE – AWARENESS & PREVENTION”:

More than 200 students formed a human chain to create awareness about anti-drugs at Namakkal town and Vagurampatti village on Monday (26.06.2023). Owing to international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking, this event was organized by the Anti – Drug Club, National Service Scheme and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal and with the support of the department of Police, Namakkal district. Dr.Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic, The NSS Programme Officer (Unit 2) Mrs. S Jayamathi, The coordinator of UBA Cell Mrs. S. Hemalatha, The Adjacent of Anti Drug Club Mrs. K. Amutha and Mrs. M. Nandhini, Assistant Professor in Mathematics took part in that human chain management. Both the central government and state government are making every attempt to prevent adolescents from using drugs through the various media. Drug abuse affects not only the individual concerned, but also the family and the whole society. We must all take an undertaking to create a drug-free society, Mrs. A.
