Medical Camp in Titarpur village in west delhi on 4 May, 2024

College: Bharati College, University of Delhi Society: UBA Committee Date : 4th of May, 2024 Title: Titarpur Medical Camp Program: Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Summary: The UBA Cell of Bharati College, in collaboration with Sewa Bharati, organized a medical camp in Titarpur Village on May 4, 2024. This medial camp aimed to provide healthcare services to the villagers and address various health concerns, Medical professional present for the camp addressed 40 villagers of different age groups for various problems including headache, body pain, eye infection, throat infection, BP/ Sugar diagnosis, Allergies and general health check-up. The camp facilitated the villagers with proper medical assistance and awareness about healthcare and hygiene practices. Objectives: 1. To offer medical assistance to the residents of Titarpur Village. 2. To diagnose and treat common health issues prevalent in the community. 3. To raise awareness about healthcare and hygiene practices. Key Participants: 1.2 faculties Prof. Rajni and Dr. Shailendra Vikram and 20 NSS unit members of Bharati College. 2. Medical professional and volunteers from NSS Bharati and Sewa Bharati 3. Residents of Titarpur Village Key Outcomes: 1. 40 villagers attended the medical camp seeking assistance for various health problems. 2. Common health issues addressed included headaches, body pain, eye problems, throat infections, blood pressure/sugar diagnosis, allergies, and general check-ups. 3. Medical professionals provided consultations, medications, and referrals for further treatment when necessary. 4. Health education sessions were conducted to promote preventive healthcare practices. Achievements: 1. Successfully provided medical care to 40 villagers. 2. Diagnosed and treated a range of health concerns effectively. 3. Raised awareness about healthcare and hygiene practices in the community. 4. Strengthened the bond between Bharati College, Sewa Bharati, and the residents of Titarpur Village. Conclusion: The medical camp organized by the UBA Committee of Bharati College in collaboration with Sewa Bharati in Titarpur Village on May 4, 2024, was a significant success. The event not only provided essential healthcare services to the villagers but also fostered a sense of community engagement and support. Such initiatives play a vital role in promoting health and well-being in underserved areas like Titarpur.
