NATIONAL ANTIDRUG PROGRAMME
The National Anti-Drug Rally, organized by Paavai College of Engineering under the auspices of the UBA, took place on 23.11.2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote the drug-free society. The rally was initiated with great enthusiasm by the college's management and UBA team, with the active participation of students and staff members.
The rally was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs Gomathy, Inspector of Police, Puduchatiram, Namakkal, who inaugurated the event by addressing the gathering at the starting point. He spoke passionately about the importance of educating young people about the harmful effects of drugs and the role each individual plays in combating this issue.
The rally began at PCE campus and proceeded towards the Puduchatiram Police Station, covering a significant distance to create awareness across the community. Students, faculty, and UBA volunteers participated energetically, carrying placards and banners with powerful anti-drug messages.
The college Chairman and Correspondent Madam officially initiated the rally, leading the participants with great enthusiasm. Her presence and encouragement boosted the morale of the participants, setting a positive tone for the event.
