Navachar evam sashaktikaran mela

After successful completion of mela in the college campus(Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Government College Jogindernagar, navachar and sashaktikaran mela was organised at grand level in the premises of mini secreteriat Jogindernagar. Almost 15 stalls were placed by ladies from self help groups and even individually. Despite, very bad weather conditions in Himachal it was a huge success . Ladies were beaming with confidence and smile at the end of the event, with a faith restored that too can have a respectful earning in their lives . Best part is we have made it sustainable as every Saturday we are providing them free of cost space to carry out this event. Also we signed Mou's with varoius entrepreneurs who ll furtehr enhance their skills of marketing. Also, one major highlight of the event was use of leaf plates instead of paper plates and the leaf spoons instead of plastic spoons. We have laid major emphasis on millet marketing and vegetables grown without the use of pesticides.
