Nutritional Status Assessment of the School Students

Using various anthropometric instruments such as weighing machine, anthropometers, steel tape, skinfold callipers and other instruments, our college students assessed the nutritional status of primary school children Observations: 56 per cent of the students belonged to normal nutritional status category and 34 per cent of the students belonged to malnourished category. There were no obese students in the schools. Gurdian and teachers were informed about the result. They gave some important advice to the gurdian or the parents of the malnourished children.
