Poster Presentation on Design Thinking and Sustainable Development
The Centre for Innovation and Social Transformation (CIST) successfully organized a poster presentation event focusing on Design Thinking and Sustainable Development. This initiative aimed to encourage students to apply Design Thinking principles in addressing real-world challenges and present their innovative solutions through well-structured posters. The event provided an interactive platform where students exhibited their creative problem-solving approaches, beginning with problem identification, moving through the ideation and prototyping stages, and culminating in well-defined, implementable solutions. Students were required to articulate how they analyzed their selected problem, explored diverse perspectives, and arrived at an optimal, sustainable solution using the Design Thinking Process. Director Rohit Kandakatla, who served as the chief evaluator, meticulously assessed each poster, providing critical feedback and suggestions to help students refine their ideas. His insightful observations guided students toward further enhancing their solutions. The event was meticulously organized and executed by Team CIST, under the leadership of Mrs. P. Samyuktha. The Poster Presentation Event on Design Thinking and Sustainable Development was a resounding success, providing students with a transformative learning experience. It effectively demonstrated the
power of Design Thinking in addressing real-world challenges and encouraged students to think innovatively and sustainably.
