Reel to Real Impact as part of SAHYOG 3.0
The Reel to Real Impact program was organized by the Centre for Innovation and Social Transformation (CIST) at KG Reddy College of Engineering & Technology on October 14, 2025. Held in association with AIESEC, the event focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically targeting goals like No Poverty, Quality Education, and Climate Action.
The initiative used storytelling and cinema as a medium to orient students toward pressing global and local challenges. Through structured screenings and interactive discussions, participants were encouraged to develop empathy and critical thinking regarding social and environmental issues. This program served as a foundational activity to bridge the gap between academic learning and community-centric problem solving, motivating students to lead innovation-driven social change. By the end of the session, students demonstrated an increased commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development.
