REGIONAL COORDINATION MEETING

On January 19 2024, IIT Chennai organized a Regional Coordinator Meeting on campus to discuss successful implementations of UBA activities under no cost and low-cost initiative initiatives with coordinators from regions who deliberated over effective strategies for community engagement, waste management, water conversation, and skill development through local resources and volunteers. It was an all-hands-on-deck approach in collaboration and in harnessing the existing infrastructure to be able to generate maximum results. The meeting ended with commitment to putting together a repository of best practices and to planning follow-up sessions to monitor how they are working out and to continue coordination among coordinators for future projects.
