Roots of Change- Shoolini’s Plantation and Cleaning Drive
As part of Daan Utsav 2025, a week dedicated to the spirit of giving and service, NSS, NCC, and SFY (Shoolinians for You) at Shoolini University organized a Plantation and Cleaning Drive titled “Roots of Change”, reflecting the values of care, compassion, and environmental responsibility. The initiative began with a tree plantation activity, during which volunteers planted a variety of saplings across the campus and surrounding areas, symbolizing growth, hope, and the university’s commitment to a greener future. Participants pledged to nurture the saplings, reinforcing a sense of ownership and long-term responsibility toward environmental conservation. This was followed by a coordinated cleaning drive in and around the university premises, where volunteers collected plastic waste, cleaned pathways, and segregated recyclable materials using eco-friendly practices. The combined efforts of NSS volunteers, NCC cadets, and SFY members made the initiative impactful and visible, enhancing campus cleanliness while promoting awareness of sustainable living and responsible waste management. Through the “Roots of Change” drive, Shoolini University reaffirmed its dedication to community service, environmental stewardship, and active student engagement, truly embodying the essence of Daan Utsav by giving back selflessly and working collectively for a cleaner and greener future.
