RURAL HOUSEHOLD INTENSHIP PHASE 1 PORTAL UPDATION

The UBA Rural Internship began on 7th April 2025 with an orientation session at Sri Sairam Techno Incubator Foundation. During the first day, students were introduced to Objectives of the UBA Rural Internship, Roles and responsibilities during Internship, Awareness on survey methods, community interaction, and sustainable practices. This session served as a foundation for the internship, preparing students to engage effectively with the adopted villages and contribute meaningfully to rural development initiatives. Through this internship program, students actively engaged with adopted villages to understand rural lifestyles, identify local challenges, and contribute to sustainable development. After collecting the household and village survey forms, the data from the surveys was systematically entered into the official UBA government portal. This process helped in digitally documenting the village information, which will later support the creation of Village Development Plans (VDPs) and enable effective monitoring of rural development initiatives.
