Spreading Light and Smiles: Deepotsav Celebration with nearby communities

The NSS unit of Bharati College celebrated Diwali under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan by organizing Deepotsav and spreading joy among underprivileged communities. Festivities began with inviting residents from nearby bastis and an NGO to Deepotsav at the college premises on 28th October, where diyas and flowers lit up the celebration. Volunteers visited Peelikothi and Lohar Basti on 30th October, decorating mandirs and distributing gifts like sweets and calendars. The gift distribution continued on 31st October in the basti near Bharati College. The event fostered joy, unity, and social responsibility.
