Title: Tree Plantation

An activity under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (UBA) was successfully conducted on 27th March 2026. The theme of the activity was Tree Plantation, aligned with the vision of “Green Bharat.” The initiative covered three villages: Khairpur Sekhan, Chattarnagar, and Jakhepal. The primary objective of the activity was to promote environmental awareness and encourage sustainable practices among rural communities. Mainly, schools were covered during this activity, where students interacted with school children and staff to spread awareness about the importance of tree plantation. Students actively participated in the plantation drive with great enthusiasm and dedication. They planted saplings in different areas of the villages and interacted with the local residents to spread awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance. The students also educated villagers about the benefits of tree plantation, such as improving air quality, conserving biodiversity, and combating climate change. Furthermore, the concept and significance of the “Green Bharat” theme were explained to the villagers, emphasizing the collective responsibility of individuals in protecting and nurturing the environment. The activity was a great success as it not only contributed to environmental conservation but also strengthened the bond between the institution and the rural community. It encouraged students to become responsible citizens and active participants in nation-building initiatives. Overall, the UBA Tree Plantation activity proved to be a meaningful step towards creating a greener and more sustainable future.
