Tree Plantation Drive by K.K. Wagh Engineering College NSS Students

In an inspiring effort to contribute to environmental conservation, the NSS students of K.K. Wagh Engineering College conducted a tree plantation drive at Mohgaon on 16th July 2024. Under the coordination of Prof. Swanand Dongare and Prof. Rohit Bhaskar, the students successfully planted around 100 trees, showcasing their commitment to creating a greener future.
The plantation drive included a diverse range of tree species such as Jambhul, Arjun, Hirda, Behda, Chinch, Moh, Karnj, Ritha, and Walwa. Each species was carefully selected for its ecological benefits, ensuring a positive impact on the local environment.
Prof. Swanand Dongare and Prof. Rohit Bhaskar played pivotal roles in guiding and organizing the activity, ensuring that the students were well-prepared and motivated. Their dedication to environmental education and sustainability was evident in the meticulous planning and execution of the event.
