Visit to Banjepally and Marrithanda Villages (for Problem Scoping)

On March 6, 2025, 30 first-year students from KG Reddy College of Engineering visited Banjepally and Marri Thanda villages in Kamareddy District as part of their Social Innovation Course. The visit aimed to understand rural life, culture, and challenges through community engagement and Design Thinking. Students identified key issues, particularly in maize cultivation due to rocky, uneven terrain, impacting farmers' yields and livelihoods. They conducted empathy exercises, observed farming practices, and scoped problems for future solutions. The visit, coordinated by faculty, provided valuable insights for developing sustainable agricultural innovations.
