Visit to Sewing Machine Service Centre

On November 28, 2024, Mr. A. Seshappa and Mr. Abhiram from KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology’s Centre for Innovation and Social Transformation (CIST) visited a sewing machine service center to enhance an old machine’s functionality. They optimized needle distance, timing gear, and bobbin setup, improving stitching precision and efficiency for Banjara embroidery and industrial bag-making. The hands-on experience showcased intricate embroidery techniques and revitalized the machine for diverse applications. This initiative highlights CIST’s dedication to sustainable innovation, repurposing machinery to support skill development and meet varied stitching demands with enhanced reliability.
