World No Tobacco Day
Rai University actively observed World No Tobacco Day on 31st May 2025 by organizing a Poster Presentation and Awareness Drive aimed at sensitizing students about the harmful effects of tobacco use. The event was coordinated by the Academic Club and the Department of Public Health, with enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines.
The poster presentation served as a powerful medium for students to creatively express the health, social, and environmental consequences of tobacco consumption. Themes included "Say No to Tobacco," "Choose Life, Not Tobacco," and "Be Smart, Don’t Start," which captured the audience’s attention and sparked meaningful conversations.
Alongside the display, an awareness session was conducted where faculty members shared insightful facts about tobacco’s impact on youth and the importance of preventive health behavior. Students also took an anti-tobacco pledge, reinforcing their commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
The event successfully fostered awareness and encouraged peer-to-peer learning in a visually engaging and interactive format. It reflected Rai University’s continued commitment to promoting health-conscious behavior and building a tobacco-free campus environment.
