This report outlines the successful efforts made to provide an artificial leg to Mr. Jagatheeswaran, a physically challenged resident of Thirumudivakkam Village Panchayat.
Mr. Jagatheeswaran, a resident of Thirumudivakkam, reached out with a heartfelt request for an artificial leg to improve his mobility and quality of life. Understanding the critical need, Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology, under its UBA program, swiftly took action to address his requirement.
The institute approached the Adinath Jain Trust, a renowned organization providing prosthetics free of cost to those in need. The trust readily agreed to support the initiative, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to community service. This partnership was instrumental in fulfilling Mr. Jagatheeswaran’s request.
On 23rd November 2024, the artificial leg was successfully fitted to Mr. Jagatheeswaran at Thirumudivakkam Village Panchayat. The event was a testament to the collaborative spirit of the institute, the Adinath Jain Trust, and the local community.
