On January 26, 2024, the Village Panchayat held a Gram Sabha to address critical community issues, with the active participation of Sairam UBA. Residents expressed concerns about water supply for both domestic and agricultural use. Solid waste management was a pressing issue, with overflowing bins and widespread littering. Additionally, local lake pollution by plastics posed significant threats to wildlife and public health. In response, the Panchayat promised to design action plans for infrastructure repairs, improve waste management systems, and initiate lake conservation efforts. Sairam UBA contributed valuable insights to these discussions, supporting sustainable community development.
The main problems that were identified on that day was water leakage, solid waste management, and lake pollutionby plastics. The residents said water was wasted by leakypipes, where large amounts were being lost.
