The Khedavada community, under the scheme of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), demonstrated an inspiring success story. Confronting the pervasive health issue of kidney stones exacerbated by contaminated water, the initiative, executed on 27th October 2023, conducted a thorough village survey. With a unified front comprising healthcare experts, local leaders, and proactive villagers, a multifaceted solution emerged. Water purification methods, dietary guidance, and herbal treatments were deployed, accompanied by an advocacy for increased water intake and hygiene practices. The community, empowered with knowledge and a shared responsibility, garnered governmental support to address infrastructural deficiencies. The collaborative synergy of diverse stakeholders culminated in a triumph—transforming Khedavada into a beacon of resilience and progress, epitomizing the core ethos of UBA.
