In December 2023, the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative undertook the adoption of Maherpura, a rural village, with a focused objective of addressing agricultural challenges. Through an exhaustive village survey and interactive sessions, the UBA team identified and promptly tackled the agricultural issues plaguing the community. The solution involved the implementation of strategic measures for preserving vegetables and fruits. Engaging the villagers through discussions and community meetings, the UBA initiative successfully ensured prolonged freshness of produce, significantly reducing both time and financial expenses. This transformative approach not only alleviated immediate concerns but also fostered a sense of resilience and sustainable growth within the Maherpura community, exemplifying the impactful outcomes achievable through community-driven initiatives like UBA.
