REPORT ON TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

On August 31, 2024, a tree plantation drive was organized by the Department of Hospital Administration and Management, in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell of DSCW, at the adopted village of Sherkhan. Different saplings were planted at Sherkhan Wala Village during this initiative, which aimed to promote environmental sustainability, enhance the green cover, and spread awareness about the role of trees in combating climate change.

The event aimed to not only contribute to the ecological health of Sherkhan Wala village but also to foster community engagement in environmental conservation efforts. Volunteers from DSCW, local residents, came together to plant trees, symbolizing collective action towards a greener and healthier future. The drive highlighted the importance of trees in improving air quality, enhancing biodiversity, and reducing the adverse effects of climate change.

By reinforcing the principles of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, DSCW demonstrated its commitment to rural development and environmental stewardship. The success of this event has laid the foundation for future collaborations focused on promoting sustainability and eco-friendly practices. This plantation drive marked a significant step toward building a greener India and deepening the relationship between DSCW and the local community.
