On March 27, 2024 UBA cell of Kristu Jyothi College of Management and technology conducted a program named SNEHA JYOTHI (A Philanthropic initiative of UBA cell of KJCMT)  at Nakral in Changanacherry part of Paipad Gramapanchayath Program was inagruated by our college principal Rev. Fr Dr Joshy Cheeramkuzhy CMI and welcome speech was delivered by the panchayath vice president as well as the gramapanchayath member of Nakral  Ms Shainy Jojo .The program was also attended by the UBA co-ordinators Ms Cini Joseph , Ms Sreeja Anand and IQAC co-ordinator Ms Anu Antony and UBA student volunteers. The programme was distributing grocery kits for 37 needed family . They had done a warm welcome for us . The grocery kits was distributed by our college principal and vice president Ms Shainy Jojo . The student volunteers interacted with the villagers and tried to understand the various problems faced by them.The program was really eye opening for the students to understand the problems of the villagers.They were so grateful to have us on that day.After visiting them we had decided to maintain that releationship with the villagers in future .We got an inspiration for doing same kind of activities in other adopted villages. After  the distributions of grocery kits all the student volunteers had done the household survey.
