Dr. Brojendranath Dey of MCKVIE, Liluah, Howrah educates local people of Jamalpur, Purba Bardhaman on the importance of Solid waste management in terms of dry and wet waste seperation followed by their conversion to useful products. He emphasizes on conversion of wet waste to compost and high yield fertilizers and encourages the villagers to recycle plastics into other usable products such as tiles/bricks etc.
