The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan team at Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya conducted a community survey in its five adopted villages Alasuli, Betkalla, Dhitai Basan, Ghasipur, and Kalikapur to stress out the thrust areas on which different activities would be undertaken. A door to door survey of households was also conducted to find out their socio-economic, health-related and educational status.
The team also organized different awareness campaigns on Dengue, Thalassemia, the importance of plastic-free environment and ill habits of using open-air toilets.

1 Construction of a rainwater management system for agriculture as well as household usage.
2 Installation of Water ATMs for villagers of the economically weaker sections to provide clean but low-cost water.
3 Installation of Automatic Sanitary Napkin vending machine to all villagers.
4 Making traditional Preservation system for betel leaves.
5 Biological Control of Mosquito through indigenous larvivorous fishes.
6 Plastic collection mechanisms and artisans.
7 Bio-flock fish farming for mid-day meals in schools.
