KPRIET-Unnat Bharat Abhiyan cell has conducted a significant “Tree Planting Drive 2024” in Kaduvettipalayam village on March 4, 2024. The event witnessed the participation of esteemed individuals, including Dr.E Somasundaram, Director, UBA Regional coordinator, TNAU, Coimbatore, Dr. D Saravanan, the Principal, Dr. M Ramasamy, Secretary of KPRIET, Kaduvettipalayam panchayat members, faculty and students. Over 1000 trees were planted during the event, marking a substantial contribution to the Miyawaki afforestation drive in the region and irrigation systems were installed. In addition to the tree planting initiative, the event witnessed the renovation of the Kaduvettipalayam Government Nursery School.
