The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan team has started a novel initiative by allowing the villagers of the adopted villages to get access to our institute's medical facility at Sanjeevan Health Centre in January 2023. The villagers can get medical advice for non-serious ailments at the center. Our team has prepared a UBA health card for this purpose, one for each household in the village. So far, about 200 health cards have been distributed to the villagers, and they have started to avail themselves of the free health check-up facility at our health center. The villagers are very happy with this initiative and have thanked the team for their effort. We would like to express our deep gratitude to our Director, Prof. Sreepad Karmalkar, for his kind approval for this initiative. We are also extremely grateful to our Registrar Offtg., Mr. Debaraj Rath, for his help and support in starting this initiative.
