UBA Program on Puppet Show on Personal Hygiene &Resources - Cherish or Perish / Skit on Nutritional Awareness & Games
The Department of Food Nutrition Science and Department of Human Development conducted a program titled Puppet Show on Personal Hygiene &Resources - Cherish or Perish / Skit on Nutritional Awareness & Games at the UBA-adopted village Ane on March 24, 2023. The Students performed two puppet shows for the Zilla Parishad Primary School children and their parents. Their topics for the puppet show were: 1) Resources: Cherish and Perish 2) Cleanliness and personal hygiene. Along with this students also did a drawing activity with the children which was carried forward by Q and A session related to the topics of the puppet show and displayed a skit on healthy food habits. Dr. Amrita Behel, Dr. Ritu Bhatia, Ms. Madhura Shirsath, and Ms. Vinaya Dasgainkar conducted the activity. UBA Coordinator Dr. Vinod Zalte planned the activities. It was a great learning experience and a good exposure for students.
