RURAL HOUSEHOLD SURVEY

From February 19 to 24, 2025, the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell of Sri Sairam Engineering College conducted a Household Survey in Somangalam village as part of its rural engagement initiative. The primary objective of this survey was to understand the needs and requirements of individuals and the community across various wards of the village . A total of 80 students from first, second, and third year participated in this activity in batches, covering six wards over four survey days. The process began with a structured training session conducted at the Incubation Auditorium, where students were briefed on the survey procedure and form requirements. The survey covered 395 households, and the data collected is intended to support the planning of future development projects and to create awareness among the villagers about various state and central government schemes.
