UBA Survey at YethbarPally Village
On November 26, 2025, a group of 25 second-year students from various departments visited Yethbarpalle village as part of UBA survey and also part of the course Design thinking and Sustainable Development. This field visit allowed students to immerse themselves in rural culture and explore local sources of livelihood, particularly the village's extensive flower farming economy. Through direct interaction with farmers and silent empathy exercises, students gained a deep understanding of the daily challenges and crop growth cycles inherent to village life. The visit was strategically used to scope previously identified community problem statements and explore innovative, eco-friendly product ideas using local floral resources. By bridging academic theory with real-world rural engagement, the program successfully combined community needs with sustainable development goals.
