Purpose

The purpose of Sustainable Agriculture System, SEG-UBA is to bring change in rural life through innovations happening in the institutions across the country in order to improve the livelihood security of rural mass in the country.

Sustainable Agriculture System, SEG-UBA evaluate the innovation proposals for their implementation with financial support for implementation in rural areas. Besides customization of technologies relevant to agriculture is also evaluated and implemented. 

Vision

The vision of Sustainable Agriculture System, SEG-UBA is to bring halt in migration of the rural people engaged in agriculture to cities, livelihood security through agriculture development, create awareness for nutrition and nutritionally superior crop varieties of food, oil seed, vegetable and fruit plants to promote sustainable development of agriculture promotion of organic vegetable production to improve the soil health and soil microflora which help to mobilization of fix phosphorus potash to reduce the soil water contamination through nitrates, heavy metals and pesticides etc. 

Mission

Awareness will be created through training, demonstration and visits of farmers to the sites of innovation centres to represent the applications.
